We have been HUGE fans of our Bestview Handheld Color Video Monitor. Countless times Philip & I have said to each other we don't know how people can use a standard monitor. NEW MOMS...a video monitor is a must! Before leaving for Hawaii I noticed the monitor wasn't keeping it's charge as long as it used to but I didn't think much about it (it has been used at least 3 times/day for the last 9 months) so I figured it just needed some time connected to the AC adapter to recharge it. When we returned from our trip, I woke up in the middle of the night to find the monitor completely dead despite being plugged in with the AC adapter. Long story short, the plug completely stopped working thus no longer charging the batteries. We contacted Summer notifying them of the problem & since the monitor is less than a year old they are replacing it! We love our monitor... no longer use the sound but I really can't see us not using the visual anytime soon. Don't really know how parents did it without being able to see into the room!
