PICTURE PLEASE

We went to a luau in Paradise Cove (GORRRRRR-GEOUS). The landscape/oceanscape was incredible. It literally felt like something from a movie. We danced, ate, made hats with flowers from reeds, threw spears & saw traditional Hawaiian hula dancers, etc. There are definitely some great pics to come for a later blog post.

Addison has been SO GOOD deviating from a schedule, sleeping wherever we are is she is tired. The trip has been a great lesson in adaptability for me. We are so fortunate she is such a good baby!

Addison has drawn SO MUCH attention to herself since we have been here. People are constantly stopping us & asking us how she is doing with the time difference, how was she on the plane, talking about her fair skin & big blue eyes. For some reason the Japanese tourists walk by, shout "Hawaii" to her as they giggle & wave but the craziest thing happened the other night. At the luau a Japanese woman who didn't speak English came up to us & started cooing & awing over Addison. We thought it was sweet at first until she whipped out her camera & started taking pictures. As I tried to get away from her she reached out her hands & tried to take Addison from me & handed Philip her camera...yeah, she totally wanted us to take a picture of her holding Addison, lol. CREEPY!?! Doesn't she know that my daughter is the furtherest thing from a Hawaiian attraction? People have mistaken us a European the entire time we've been. I think it's partially because of style but mostly because of mine & Addison's white canvas. I think France will be the next destination. In all seriousness it will be & probably before Christmas.
