halloween re-cap

It started off a little bit like this. Unfortunately I did not partake.
It's okay though because my Dad made up for it & made a small dent in our candy before the trick or treaters arrived. Mum & Dad came up to see Addison all dressed up in her costume. She loved the attention & most definitely LOVED her unicorn costume. Philip snagged a couple of pictures of me & my sweet baby girl.

Once the door bell started ringing we moved outside to greet the trick or treaters.  Addison did a little bit of trick or treating herself & walked next door as she said "Emmmmmmma" at the top of her lungs.

After showing off her costume to her BFF we passed out some some more candy.
Addison some how figured out that this bowl full of "stuff" was edible & decided she was going to partake in the fun & fill her own bag.
In a piece would go into her bag & out it would come. She'd toss it back into the candy bowl, thumb through it & take something else.  It was hilarious. Once she realized the nerds made noise she took off...she wasn't going to let us take her nerds.
unfortunately this is the best family shot we could get. between a restless bull dog, rambunctious 1 year old & camera operator unsure of how to use the camera...this is the best we could get
suuuuucckkkka's

We headed over to the other side of the subdivision & stopped to say hello to her friends Tanner & Peyton.

From there we headed to the church for trunk or treat.  We decorated the car like a "monster mouth" & passed out candy.

We hung out for about an hour & half. Addison & Philip both were runners up in the costume contest. We got to mingle with people from the church & community.

I was super proud of both Hampton & Addison; they both willingly kept their costumes on & didn't misbehave at all. I love my kiddos.
