growing

i can't believe how fast my pregnancy is going by.  i am seriously loving every minute of it. still no morning sickness & no cravings.  i have TONS of energy & i think i am starting to nest.  i have this overwhelming sense of unpreparedness & have been obsessed with cleaning. i want to make sure everything is perfect before addison gets here.  as my belly is growing i have been experiencing round ligament discomfort & have started to sleep with a body pillow, although, i don't think i even know how to appropriately use it, lol.  

i am in baby girl heaven & have been buying LOTS of adorable clothes for addison.  i have bought stuff online from etsy, toobydoo, tea collection, janie & jack, velvet & tweed, mini boden & zara.  i have scored some awesome deals at 77 kids, crazy 8, h&m & my new favorite place in raleigh, babiology. i can't help myself :)i have even gotten myself a few things from asos maternity collection, everly grey & boden's maternity collection.  i am mostly just wearing my regular clothes though.

addison is the length of a carrot this week & she weighs about 10 1/2 ounces. she is GROWING & very active.

hampton looks like he is checking my belly out.  he totally knows addison is in there. my bump is big enough that it still pokes outward when i lay on the couch & he likes to rest his head on it.

okay, so maybe i am poking my belly out just a tad but philip is also taking this pretty close up. it's definitely growing though!

addison was being really sweet during the ultrasound last monday so the tech turned 3D on for us to get a better glimpse of her.  we tried for 20+ minutes to get her to look at us but she was content snuggling, sucking her thumb, sucking her toes (yes, she had her foot in her mouth at one point) & just rolling around.  nonetheless the tech was able to capture a few, not so creepy, ultrasounds in 3D.  because addison is still so skinny some of the pictures are quite creepy & very "scream" like.

my bump has popped even more since monday & it makes me really excited. i actually look pregnant now. i can feel addison moving more & more...it's the most amazing feeling.

addison got a gift & sweet little note in the mail today from aly.  they are precious & couldn't be more perfect! thank you aly WE LOVE THEM!!!

and the baby is....

there have been many incredible moments of my life: philip proposing, my wedding day, graduating from college & finding out that i was pregnant.  finding out the baby's gender today was definitely another one of those moments.
we had our family that lives in the area & a few of close friends over for a little party to reveal the gender.

1st beach trip

this weekend was awesome. finished the cooper river bridge run in 58 min 19 1/2 weeks pregnant & i am pretty dang proud of myself. i felt great the entire time & took it slow & easy.  we had an awesome time with tiff & perry @ DeBordieu. it was great to have such a relaxing weekend because i am so anxious to find out the baby's gender tomorrow.
