give her a box & she can rule the world

I have said it a thousand times.  I am completely blown away watching Addison discover life.  Who would have known that at 14 months she'd already have such a little imagination.  She now makes her little people talk to each other, races a car or anything with wheels around the living room saying "vroom, vroom",  & takes care of Hampton like he is a baby.  Seriously! If she is drinking her coconut milk in the living room, she walks over to him, gently pats the top of his head, says "awwwww" & shoves her sippy cup in his face as she says "mick" (how she says milk).  The other morning I scrambled around the downstairs in search of the Nikon because she was sweeter than ever.  Of course when I want my camera the most, it's not where to be found, so I snapped a few on my iPhone.  This was also the same morning that you would have thought I gave her the best toy in the world.  I carried her empty pampers box downstairs to toss in the recycling & she hopped in side. She'd get in & out, smiling & giggling as she did so. She'd call Hampton over as she'd try to invite him in.  She played in the box for at least 45 minutes. Give a kid a box & they can rule the world.
