bye 2nd trimester, hello 3rd

wow...life has been chaotic the past 2 weeks...we've been non-stop! work has been absolutely nuts lately. it's insane from the time i clock in, until the time i clock out. 3 twelve hour shifts in a row is getting a lot harder physically. my days off have been filled with out of town guests & running lots of errands. weekend summer wedding season kicked off last weekend with tiana & jordan's outdoor wedding. it was a gorgeous 98 degrees. shellie & robbie say "i do" this coming weekend & i can't wait!!  we managed squeeze in a short beach trip this past weekend. i rained most of the time but it was good to get away with tiff & perry. we would have stayed today/monday but memorial day is one of scheduled holiday's this year.  we are going to work on the baby's room some tonight. 

26 weeks, still running

 26 weeks & still running.  i have to admit it's getting a bit more challenging. it's not more challenging because of abdominal discomfort, shortness of breath, leg pains or any other physical reason (i feel great) but because of my bladder.  the bigger my bump gets the more addison uses it as a trampoline.  i am pretty limited to 3-4 mile runs at this point because that is about as long as i can hold it, lol.

addison is already a very lucky lady to be loved by so many people!!  emilee happens to be one of those people & i can't wait for them to meet because em will certainly be a very special person in miss addison's life. this is way too cute not to share.

i could die from the cuteness!! em is an AMAZING photographer & i am super lucky that she is doing my maternity pics, helping to capture the magic of delivery day through pictures and helping us document addison as she grows. i can't wait to see her in this for her 9 month pictures. eeeiiiik!!

i love it.  her closet is filled with lots of precious outfits. i can't hardly wait to see her in them. i am aware that she may only wear them 1 or 2 times, but i can't help myself!

 

i had to post this pic of hampton. while he gets lots of face time on facebook he hasn't been captured much on my blog & he of course is my 2nd child. winston (who passed away last summer) was my first son & precious bullie. i miss him dearly! we are SUPER blessed with the most gentle, affectionate, fun loving bullie who has completely stole my heart. i am convinced that addison will adore him as much as i do & know he already loves his little sister.

 after his morning walk with philip, before philip could even get his harness off, he trotted upstairs to my bedroom while i was getting ready for work. i glanced over and caught him on my body pillow. i <3 him

wahoo! the color is on the walls. it has to dry about 2 weeks to before we put the decals on. i ended up ordering them in a dark, smoky grey like the dark accent wall.

(teal appears much more blue in this picture than in real life) 

 although it still doesn't adequately depict the color, it's much closer. 

(maybe next time i should use my camera & not my iphone :)

we have officially started on the nursery.  color swatches are on the walls in their appropriate places.  this saturday philip, mum & dad are going to paint the walls.
i was never able to find a wall paper that i loved (that was reasonably priced) but i think i have found something better from ETSY.

 

 they are individual quatrefoil decals that can be color & size customized.  i am going to order them in cream in the size shown. i think they will really pop on the aqua colored walls.  i am going to space them out a lot more. i can't wait to post pictures when it's finished.

i am so blessed to have such a wonderful mum. addison is going to be extremely lucky to have such a fun, creative, caring grammy! i am also fortunate to have a fantastic mother in law.  i hope i can be as great of a mum to addison as they have been to me & philip.
